Frequently Asked Questions
I’ve never done breathwork before. Is this for me?
Yes. Most people who come have never done it. Sean guides you through every step, and you go at your own pace. You can slow your breath down or simply rest at any point.
What does breathwork feel like?
Everyone’s experience is different. People often feel tingling in the hands or face, waves of warmth, emotion moving through, or a deep stillness afterward. All of it is normal, and you’re supported the whole way through.
What if emotions come up?
That’s welcome here. Tears, laughter, shaking, or nothing at all are all part of it. Nothing is forced, and nobody is judging. You’re held in a safe, supportive space.
What’s the difference between the Nervous System Reset and the Breathwork Journey?
The Nervous System Reset is a three hour afternoon that moves through somatic movement, guided breathwork, meditation, and live sound healing. The Breathwork Journey is two hours of conscious connected breath set to music, the deepest style of breathwork Sean offers. Both are beginner friendly.
What should I bring?
A yoga mat, a pillow or cushion, a blanket, a water bottle, and an eye mask if you like.
What should I wear?
Loose, comfortable clothes you can move, stretch, and lie down in. Layers help, since your body temperature can shift during breathwork.
Should I eat beforehand?
Eat something light an hour or two before. A big, heavy meal right before can make the breathwork uncomfortable.
When should I arrive?
Please arrive by 12:45 PM so you have time to set up your space and settle in before we begin.
Is breathwork safe for everyone?
For most people, yes. If you’re pregnant, or have heart conditions, high blood pressure, epilepsy or seizures, glaucoma, or recent surgery, check with your doctor first. You can always breathe gently or simply rest during the practice. This experience is educational and not medical or mental health treatment.
What should I do afterward?
Give yourself some space if you can. Drink water, eat something nourishing, and keep the rest of your day gentle. Many people notice they sleep deeply that night.
What if the price is a barrier for me?
Please reach out. We believe healing should be accessible.
